MICHEL DECONEN VIOLIN

There is a very faint label inside of this violin. It reads Deconen (Michel) Venise 1742. This is a German made violin once again from the end of the last century. It has the very nice wood that is typical of these violins but the grain is much different.

It is also in excellent shape and has no cracks. Geza cleaned it and put on the new hardware to make it look as nice as it is and also strung it with Dominant strings like the other in this category. I have heard this violin played by two different violinists. It has a beautiful, full, mellow sound that everyone has found to be very appealing. It was the second choice of the violinist that bought the violin that was Mario's personal favorite and the best in the collection the 1808
