3 Violins - no pics

THE OLDE FIDDLE

This was an olde fiddle that was going to take more effort to repair than it was worth so we put it for sale on eBay. A budding young luthiery from Australia bought it and has hopefully "made it sing" to quote his ambitions.

THE MAGGINI COPY VIOLIN

This violin was sold locally before we could even get it out of the luthiery shop.

This was the only Maggini copy left in the collection. The other was sold before the collection came to us. It did not even get out of the Luthiery shop before it was sold. I did not even get a chance to take pictures. I regret that as it had a very distinctive shape and look.

THE EUGENE CHARTREUX VIOLIN

This was a very nice violin that once again never got out of the shop before it was sold to a young violinist who was a member of a youth orchestra in the interior of British Columbia. We did not know exactly who Eugene Chartreux was but he did make a very nice violin.

THESE 3 VIOLINS ARE SOLD
